The short version: We request read-only access to your Gmail, only to detect and classify job-application replies. Your data is encrypted, never sold, and never shared with third parties.
1. What we access
When you connect your Gmail, TrackMyApplication uses Google's official, secure sign-in to request read-only access. We never send, delete, or modify any emails. We only read messages to detect job-application activity and classify replies (Selected, Interview, Rejected, Availability Check, and Other).
2. How we use your data
- Detect and organize job-application emails across platforms such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, WorkIndia and direct company emails.
- Classify replies into clear categories and surface them on your dashboard.
- Generate aggregate insights — such as response rate by platform — for your own use.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your emails or contents with third parties.
- We do not send emails on your behalf or alter your inbox.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted, and you can disconnect Gmail or delete your account at any time, which removes your associated data.
5. Your consent & control
You provide explicit consent before connecting Gmail. You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting your account in Settings. You can request deletion of your data, and we honor data-protection rights under applicable law.
